🧪 About Us – Science House

Hello! We are the Kavaklı Family.

In 2013, we traveled to over 50 countries during a world tour. Among all those places,

Japan captured our hearts the most. We decided then: if we ever have a child,

we want to raise them in Japan, immersed in Japanese culture.

Since 2016, we have been living in Kahoku City, Japan. Japan is now our home.

I am a computer engineer. Throughout my life, I have worked in various countries

and industries including real estate, café management, VIP tourism, and technology.

Each time, I started from scratch but never gave up on my dreams.

Today, my greatest dream is to instill a love of science in not only my own children, Ali and Ena, but in all children.

This dream led to the creation of Science House.

🎯 What is Science House?

Science House is a learning space offering hands-on and fun science education designed for elementary school students.
Here, children conduct experiments, develop projects, ask questions, and learn to think like scientists.

Our goal is not just to teach lessons but to nurture curious, creative, and productive individuals.

• For our students to win first place in Japan’s national science competitions

• To represent Japan at international platforms like ISEF

• To see projects developed at Science House applied in real life

• For our students to attend the world’s top universities such as MIT and the University of Tokyo

• To ensure they finish elementary school one step ahead of their peers

Science House provides an educational environment that teaches not only knowledge but also critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration. We believe these skills are essential for the future.

💬 Why Start Early?

When I was studying computer engineering at university, there were two types of students: those with prior computer experience and those without.

I was among those without prior experience, and honestly, I never fully caught up to the others.

That’s why I firmly believe that in fields requiring deep mental skills—like science, music, or sports—it is crucial to start early.

Introducing children to science at a young age shapes the way they think, boosts their confidence, and profoundly influences their worldview.

Science House exists to help children take this early step in a nurturing and supportive environment.
